Photos taken on june 5th in Granby (Eastern Townships region), Quebec, Canada. It looks to me as an American Bittern, but the size is wrong! it was max 8 inches high. Could it be a young? Or would it be a Green Heron? Thanks, Alex

I am puzzled by this bird. First I thought it was a killdeer, then a semipalmated plover, but neither have consistent features... Photo taken on may 9th at Point Pelee, in Ontario, Canada. Thanks Alex

Thanks a lot for the help. Point Pelee is a national park on lake Erie, in Ontario, Canada. It is quite close to Detroit. Great place to witness spring and fall migrations. Cheers Alex

Photo taken at Point Pelée on may 08. It was 9am and the photo is taken a bit against the sun. I don't know if the colors are the effect of the light or if they are the real colors of the bird. Does anyone have an idea what bird that might be? Thanks, Alex

Unsure of which bird this is...
