  1. Looking at the rectrices they appear to contain much more white than I normally see here with WEME. Also, the streaking on the sides of the bird is much heavier and bolder. The malar is fairly clean, but I know the yellow could be obscured in basic plumage.
  2. This Meadowlark was seen in Central California. I was looking for your input on this bird as there is only one record of EAME the State. EAWE? Hybrid? Unfortunately, the bird was a quick fly-by with no vocalizations heard.
  3. Thank you both for your thoughts. I agree Sanderling, there is so much work to be done over there on sorting everything out. I ended up taking the broad approach and leaving the species slashed in eBird as a Common/Himalayan/Eastern Buzzard. All the best to the two of you!
  4. This Buzzard was seen on October 5, 2018, at Khoa Dinsor, Thailand. Any insight would be much appreciated.
  5. Came across this Oriole in Central California, Monterey. Looking for your thoughts on Bullocks vs Baltimore Oriole. Thanks in advance.
  6. Seen in Monterey California this past week. The bird was silent, slight eyering, clean undertail. Thanks for the help in advance!
