  1. Looks like black bellied plover and a sanderling, but I don't have much experience with the expected species in that area.
  2. Young Coopers with that blocky head, fine brown streaking, and uneven tail feathers
  3. Thanks, I figured it was a black tern but it seemed pretty late.
  4. I don't know about the species that have down that way, but with that deep rusty orange color looks closer to an orchard oriole.
  5. A few from the yard today, not all migrants, but still a pretty active afternoon. Yellow rumped warbler Cedar waxwings Orange crowned warbler Blue headed vireo White throated sparrow Pine warbler Red bellied woodpecker
  6. Not a bird picture, but pretty interesting. Green Gulf of Mexico waters meeting a muddy water plume from the Mississippi River.
  7. I've had lots of white throated sparrows this winter, but I'm really hoping for some juncos or a red breasted nuthatch.
