Oh yeah, there is some elevation change up there two, your not driving along on your way to Amarillo, and the only thing blocking your view of the earth's curvature is power polls and pumpjacks.

The only thing I'm not sure I could get used to is this thing that I've heard these crazy tails about, this stuff called rain, I'm told that is were this thing called water falls out of the sky, I'm not too sure about that.

If you're not sure about rain, wait until you see or even hear about these spinny things that fling around cars and cows and all manner of things that don't normally fly. ?

The Scissortail Fly Catcher is our state bird.  Today it spent some time in the tree next to our back yard and gave some photo ops. Here are two that I thought worth sharing.

I have a great memory as a child of visiting my grandparents in south central Oklahoma and seeing one of those flying around and sitting in a tree.

I was just wondering. What editing programs does everybody use.

I don't know about everybody, but I use Photoshop Elements because I'm not looking for "likes" or stars, just taking pictures of birds. The only thing I generally do is adjust the lighting to see the bird better and crop to remove extraneous stuff.

I've never used Lightroom.  I use Photoshop Elements. The Auto Smart Fix feature does a great job.

IMO, unless you're looking to sell pictures or get a lot of high scores or "likes", Elements is more than adequate, plus you don't have to pay some never ending monthly or yearly fee.

And some crazy bomber will probably bomb the reuploaded photo too. Photo bombing is going to happen, don't get upset over a few idiots that are just out to frustrate you. Yeah it might be annoying, but the internet is full of annoying things/people, get used to it.

I never knew that there was a site to upload pictures where random people could vote on them. Personally, I take pictures for my own enjoyment and DGAF what others think, and nor do I seek some stranger's approval. To each their own.
