  7. hi bird friends!.. this is on a busy (2 lanes each way) Santa Monica Blvd, in West Los Angeles...these 5 birds r perched on the fancy edifice in front of a business building...previously, all 5 birds were in a small tree, about 15 feet away, growing on the sidewalk of Santa Monica Blvd...about noon, local time...what species r they, and r they a family?... thanks, gregg
  8. thanks bird friends...ur awesome help!!... 🙂
  9. sorry, i forgot... both where taken in the summer, around may-june - both were taken in West Hollywood, CA, on the famous Sunset Blvd... the 3 birds in the tree, had just had a 30 minute fight with a family of 3 hawks, which i photographed - and appeared to be over, when the Hawks left the area...i waited 15 minutes, then these birds dispersed... the bird scaling the wall was eating garbage off the street, which had just held the LA Marathon, and the thousands of runners and watchers had left a lot of garbage for it to eat...it would pick something off the road, fly up to the wall to eat it, then repeat...
  10. hi bird friends!...i know these r easy for u, but i'm still having trouble - crow or raven?...1) the three in the tree...2) the one scaling a wall?...thanks, gregg...
