  1. Found this in a field and was wondering what bird it was from. It is 12-13 inches in length, has one wispy side (not frayed), and has black and white speckling throughout. P.s I left it where it layed.
  2. A friend contacted me and asked what bird did this feather come from? Found in Raquette Lake area in the Adirondacks. Can you help? ADK EMT
  3. Found this feather on our property 22km south east of Cardston, Alberta. We do have Red Tail Hawks nesting that have 2 chicks still on nest so I was wondering if it's from one of the adults as their tail feathers are this colour but I thought it too short. It's 8 1/2 inches long.
  4. My neighbors and I have always tried to call owls at night around the bonfire without luck. We are near a lake and wonder if they just do not hang out in the area until I found this feather. Does it belong to an owl or maybe a hawk? Can anyone identify a bird by a feather that was found? I was trying to use this site but there are too many possibilities. We are located in Michigan. any help would be appreciated.?
  5. Portland, Maine. Could this belong to a starling? Found in my yard, in a very urban area. (City of 70,000 in high density area) It was below a tree. I don’t know the time it was left but it was found during the day. It is about 2 inches long from top to end.
