Although I’ve been using iBird in one version or another for 10 years, I’ve never used it very much or developed much skill. Today I made notes about five species. I was using the iBird Plus app on my iPad. When I logged into iCloud with a web browser, after enabling the iCloud feature in the iBird app, I could not find my notes, but I expected to find them. Am I looking in the wrong place? Am I making some obvious beginner’s mistake?
I just logged in to iBird Pro, v. 12, build 227 on my iPhone XS, and I see that all my favorites and notes have disappeared. I’ve been a longtime user of this app, and this is the third time I’ve lost all my notes after a significant update. It’s very disheartening. After the second time, I stopped using the app for most of my note-taking but would still like to recover what little I do have. When I go to settings and investigate, I learn that iBird Pro no longer syncs with Drobobox but uses iCloud instead. I also see that logging into Dropbox will allow me to move my backup files f
