  1. Taken on 9-1-2021 in the late afternoon at Hahamongna Watershed Park near JPL in La Canada-Flintridge, CA. I have one more bird to ID from my excursion yesterday. The light was from the opposite side. Is this identifiable?
  2. Taken at dusk on 9-1-2021 at Hahamongna Watershed Park near JPL in La Canada-Flintridge, CA. There were at least 3 hummingbirds coming and going from the same branches -- seemed to be hanging out together. It was dusk and I couldn't see them very well but they all seemed similar in appearance and behavior. I assume these are Anna's, but at least one of them has a broad, squared tail which I'm not used to seeing on Anna's. Are these photos good enough to ID them? All photos were lightened 35%. Thanks.
  3. Taken at dusk on 9-1-2021 at Hahamongna Watershed Park near JPL in La Canada-Flintridge, CA. I would call this a Cassin's Kingbird, except the tail and/or wing feathers have me befuddled. Edit: both images were lightened 25%
  4. Taken on 9-1-2021 in the late afternoon at Hahamongna Watershed Park near JPL in La Canada-Flintridge, CA. I've never seen a Shrike before. Based on range I would say this is a Loggerhead Shrike, but I want to make sure. Thanks.
