    Taken on 10-3-2022 along the Tennessee River in Limestone County, AL. Can anyone tell what this bird is? I just got back from a trip to Nashville and Talladega. The trip was not primarily for birding, but I did some birding here and there along the way. This was my first time birding outside of California and Arizona, and I got several lifers that I am pleased with. I was surprised at the scarcity of waterfowl on the lakes and rivers -- even at eBird hotspots. And getting photos of the birds in the dense canopies was challenging.
