  3. It's duck season here in NW Massachusetts, and that means lots of bad superzoomed pictures of Mallards that I question. Here are a couple for inspection. These were both taken on 10/4. (Note: Interested in the bird on the right in the second picture.) Thanks in advance! TKbird
  4. I saw this duck in Newport News Park in Newport News, Virginia. It looks different than the other male mallards I have to seen. Someone told me they thought it could be a hybrid duck. I am new to birding so this is way above my knowledge level. Does anyone have any ideas as to why it looks different?
  5. These photos taken recently in scottsdale, Arizona. Does not look like a typical mallard to me. Has a breast spot also. Any help is appreciated.
