  1. At first I thought that I was looking at a male of the birds that were identified as hooded orioles earlier, but after looking at it on a larger screen, it doesn't look like that.
  2. I live in the Inland Empire in Southern California (U.S) and saw this bird on our tree in the backyard. I am almost positive it is a Hooded Oriole as I Googled it. I find this really cool as I have not seen a bird this colorful around here before.   3. I am stumped by this one. Sorry the lighting in the photos is not ideal. Shots taken at Big Morongo Canyon (near Joshua Tree National Park) on March 7, 2019. Thanks for help! Christa
