Hi there, I’m asking for a friend, trying to identify the bird on the video, it was recorded at night, so the best he got was the sound. Location: Lisbon, Portugal, city area, no beaches around IMG_2387.MOV

This bird was in the Smithsonian Zoo in the Amazonian exhibit. I cant find anything that looks like it besides the yellow winged blackbird, but the yellow winged blackbird doesn't have the yellow under tail coverts that this bird has and it does not belong to the amazon. Please help me identify this bird.

I can't seem to identify this Parrot. I got the picture at a Zoo but it had no information plate or anything saying it's name. It was in the Australian exhibit though.

Hi all! I took this picture last summer sometime in July at a cool wildlife Refuge called Pinckney Island just outside Hilton Head Island. Since then, I haven't been able to put my finger on it. It looks similar to a Great Blue Heron, but there are some key differences like the multi-colored bill/beak and weird legs. There's just something different about this bird. Oh, and if it helps at all, I do recall that day that this bird was chaperoning some youngster birds who weren't too old so maybe it has to be with the breeding season. Let me know your thoughts! Thanks!

Wondering if anyone has used an app for identifying bird songs (and/or calls) that one hears while out birding? If so, which one(s) have you used or currently use? Is there one you would recommend or are they all equally lousy? Basically, I'm interested in an app similar to how apps like SoundHound and Shazam work for ID'ing songs one randomly hears. I've found a few in the App Store (ex: Chirp!, Song Sleuth, Chirpomatic, Bird Song ID by Sunbird, etc etc.), but they all have fairly "meh" reviews and/or are expensive for an app when one can't be certain of its accuracy. However, if there is one that has a good broad repertoire and a decent accuracy rate - ideally with the more confusing bird songs or seasonal migrants (warblers, sparrows, flycatchers...), then I don't mind shelling out some $$ if one exist! I'm looking for a unicorn, I know ? Sorry for the drawn out question and thanks!

Today I spotted this beautiful bird in Oak Brook, IL, on top of a car hanging out in a shopping center parking lot. Upon closer look, he had a blue and yellow tag on both legs. Looks like a pigeon but not sure what kind of bird this is. Please help!

I have a small seasonal wreath attached to the back wall of my deck in central New Jersey I live about 7 miles away from the ocean in a very wooded lot. This bird has built a nest and has 3 hatchlings inside it. I’ve searched my Ibird app and the Internet and still am not sure of its identity possibly Bewick Wren any idea? Very small Buff belly, brown wings, beige legs tail pointy and up. Thanks in advance StevieD1
