  1. I am planning a birding trip to Cape May and surrounds this Fall. We can either do mid September or the 3rd week in October. Would one be better than the other? I think I might prefer going when the Fall Festival is not going on--it is scheduled for the latter part of the 2nd full week of October.

  3. Hey everyone, I saw this red and gray bird perched on a spruce in central New Jersey at around mid-day. I took this photo in a suburban neighborhood, and this bird was the only member of its species I noticed in the vicinity. It later flew off in the Northeasterly direction as far as I could see. Anyone know what species it might be?
