  1. This bird has been at our suet. Seen in Maine, open fields, woods, and water. It acts like a Downy or Hairy woodpecker, is feisty and more yellow and black than white and black. I haven't found it anywhere on line or in books. It looks like a hairy or downy that got crossed with one of our Baltimore orioles. Very curious as to what it might be.
  2. In eastern Montana in June. Medium size bird flying. Predominantly brown but had large white area on upper tail coverts when wings flying. Open farmland
