Benjamin
Unfortunately, I don't think you're going to get much farther than narrowing it down based on range (which since I don't know the location I can't do).
Kerri
To be honest - I think this is just an odd shaped leaf. The other leaves are odd shaped as well.
Charlie Spencer
These 'wings' are completely the wrong shape for a hummer. The 'bill' is probably due to a leaf projection similar to the one on the leaf to the lower right from this 'bird'.
Jefferson Shank
It's just the leaves.
lonestranger
Looks like a hybrid between a hummingbird and the bat signal. 1
SirVive
I'd like to see a hummer with a bill curved that much! Pretty cool imitation though.
AlexHenry
Um... I don't see anything that remotely resembles a bird
TexasCobra
SirVive, you will find that hummingbirds have some extraordinary bill shapes. The varieties of bill shape are more evident in South America where species of hummingbird occupied ecological niches that did not require migration and they co-evolved with species of plants that produce flowers which can only be pollinated by a single species of hummingbird. Here are some examples. The Sword-billed Hummingbird has a bill as long or longer than the bird's body. The Lucifer Hummingbird of Arizona and West Texas has a curved bill.https://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Lucifer_Hummingbird/id The Hermit Hummingbirds show a different bill shape depending on whether they are male or female. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2830232/ I am not claiming that my pic captured a hummingbird. It does suggest the head and bill of one.
RobinHood
This doesn't help the discussion but I can agree that with or without a Hummingbird it was definitely a pretty impressive moon, I took a photo the same night.
