Found eleven snakes (three species) on a hike yesterday!  Here is an Eastern Rat Snake (that was around five feet long), a Northern Watersnake, and a Common Garter Snake.

The closest thing I could find was the endangered Kirtland's snake (Clonophis kirtlandii)

I know most people just consider them a pest but they are cute.

This kit kept popping its head up over the edge of the deck yesterday to see if I was still watching it (photo taken through dirty glass and a screen).
