Charlie Spencer
Okay, I'll take shot. It appears to be a relatively large bird, but we don't have anything to compare with besides the waves. The bill appears to curve down, although I can't tell how long it is or its color. The head looks like it's a solid color, unstriped, so I'll discard Whimbel. Long-billed Curlew? Although it's late in the season. DEFINITELY wait for a better opinion. Edited May 9, 2020 by Charlie Spencer
Phalarope713
This is indeed a dowitcher, probably Short-billed based on location.
Benjamin
There's not much to go on, but the pale belly certainly points to Short-billed. I'll concur.
AlexHenry
Looks good for Short-billed Dow
akiley
griseus (Atlantic) Short-billed, with minimal orange. Hendersoni Short-billed and Long-billed are much richer in color. Edited May 9, 2020 by akiley
