This bird was heard today in the Persido of SF. I believe I saw the bird, thrush size, very dark, but it was in shadows. I thought catbird when I saw it. I think it’s a thrush now, but never heard one sound like it.

It's the "Whit-burrr" call of a Swainson's Thrush.

Since 13 people download the audio, I thought you might find what the ID was helpful. This is a Swainson’s Thrush. I never knew they made calls like this.
