It may be one, it would make more sense that one of them is in this habitat, I just would think that a Brewers would have a white eye-ring, which I don't see on this bird. Also this bird has a plain gray cheek, which seems better for House Sparrow.

Brewer's Sparrow has a much finer, more delicate bill. The heavy bill on your bird alone should indicate that it's not a new world sparrow but in fact an old world one.
