May 2016.  Edisto Gardens, Orangeburg, central SC.  A park with ponds in open areas, and a small river cutting through swampy wetlands.

I initially tagged these as Mallards before I knew such things as Mottleds existed.  Just for giggles, i thought I'd ask if anyone thinks one of these things is not like the others.

The lack of any white on the secondaries is what caught my attention the most.  It could be hidden but I'd think at least one bird would show some.

Agreed.  My original tags the photos include 'Immature'.

Thanks.  I just found this equivalent of a lotto scratch card and thought I'd see if I was lucky.
