Sandlerling and. . . . .

Shorebirds are going to be the death of me. Georgia coast, yesterday. Two different pairs, same question: "Sanderling and ???"

I don't think there are any sanderling here, now that I look closer. They should all be gone by now.

Nevermind, The Sanderling are odd, wouldn't they be in breeding plumage right now? At least one of them looks off for breeding female. I'm not really sure about these birds. I'm thinking white dumped at least for the second one, maybe the first is Pectoral?

I think there are two Sanderlings in the first pic and a Semipalmated Sandpiper and a Sanderling in the second pic.

Ok. He just looked so gray compared to the others and a but smaller. There just to vex me, it appears.
