Juvenile European Starling?

Today in Western New York. This bird was just sitting on the pool cover. Is this a Juvenile European Starling? I'm like 99% sure but need confirmation.

I can't comment on the bird's age, but it is indeed a Starling.

Maybe it's because I'm looking at my tablet on the sunny deck, but this looks like a young cowbird to me.  The bill looks too stubby for a starling.

The bill is thin and bright yellow.

Well, I've sworn off trying to ID what I see on my phone.  I'll add the tablet to that same list.  I'll stick to the big ol' honkin' 24-inch monitor inside.

Yeah, I've had the same problem with my phone. I don't ID unless I'm on the laptop.

But the sun is shining, there's a great breeze, an RWBL is serenading me (okay, probably not ME), so it's a worth a few botched IDs.
