Birds of Prey of the West, A Field Guide

Recommended Posts

Birds of Prey of the West is a new Princeton book by Brian K. Wheeler that is absolutely amazing. It represents over 50 years of painting birds and studying raptors. I don't see how you can live without this text. It goes so far beyond anything I have ever read that claims to explain how to tell raptors apart. Here is a link to it on Amazon: https://amzn.to/2wj6vnC

I also attached some screen captures of a few of the plates to give you an idea of the care and detail Brian put into this epic masterpiece.
