two mystery warblers

Recommended Posts

I recorded these two warbler songs while birding on May 18th in Colorado.

The first one was singing from some dense, shrubby willows along a stream within mixed aspen/conifer forest at about 9,500 feet in the Wet Mountains (southwest of Pueblo, Colorado).

The second one was singing in some more lowland riparian habitat (cottonwoods, etc.) just downstream of the Pueblo Reservoir dam in Pueblo, Colorado.

What do people think they are? Many thanks, all!

Warbler (?), Wet Mountains.m4a Warbler (?), Pueblo Reservoir.m4a

Thank you for your suggestions! I agree with Wilson's for the first (thanks), but I am also not sure about Nashville for the second.

When I heard it, my guess for the second was Northern Waterthrush. What do you all think?
