I saw these birds in Uvalde Co. TX. mid May. Were in small flocks (about 3-6), they acted much like chickadees or titmice. They were very active, I had a very hard time getting a photo.

I know this photo is horrible photo, but thanks for any ideas!

I'm not seeing any stripes on the belly... I'm also seeing white outer tail feathers. Chipping Sparrow is what came to mind for me.

I did not have binoculars with me at the time, but I thought they were mostly/all grayish colored. The pink legs do fit though.
