Medium size bird SW of Springfield MO. About size of our common Jaybird but slimmer. Distinctive black, slightly raised head cap. Light brown breast. Narrow longer tail, again similar to Jaybird. Rest of bird grey tones I think. Saw two same-kind birds in my backyard with worm or larger insect in their beaks to feed their young but I have not located their nest just yet. My first bird inquiry post, I'm not proficient at this as you can probably tell. Thank you.

@Jefferson Shank That's a distinctive sounding bird. I'm going to try and get pictures. I also have several bushes and thought I saw one dart into it. Also swooped down into blackberries. Do they have a typical nest? We have a Dove nesting in our small back yard in a short Blue Spruce. Backyard Blackbirds have a nest in a native Cherry tree also. Do some Grey Catbirds have a medium brown color breast from neck down?
