I have seen and photographed Peregrine Falcons in Colorado but until yesterday I had only seen them in Florida and then only a couple. It is nice to have photo in Florida now. Normally the shore behind the falcon would be covered in birds. Gee I wonder why there were none yesterday??

I went to 6 birding hotspots, but 2 of them were a bust. I saw a lot of birds at 4 of the locations -- 2 southeast of Phoenix and 2 in Prescott. I got 11 lifers. Was hoping for a few more (especially a Cactus Wren), but I'm happy with what I got: Abert's Towhee Black Vulture Canvasback Common Gallinule Curve-billed Thrasher Gambel's Quail Gila Woodpecker Greater Roadrunner Northern Harrier Tundra Swan Verdin Nice? But, the topic for lifers is this: This topic is only for birds you’ve seen, but not photographic.
Dan P
I guess I can't delete the post. I reported it and asked to have it moved to the topic Lifers. Thanks.

The title of the topic is 'Photo Lifers', meaning photographic lifers so I don't understand your comment. If @Dan P's photos are of lifers, wouldn't they be appropriate right where they are? I didn't see that in the opening post when I first checked, guess I didn't scroll down to read the amendment separating this thread from the 'Lifers' thread. I apologize for my confusion.

Charlie Spencer
Only my second Blue-headed Vireo. The first was a couple of years ago, later in early spring, less than a tenth of a mile away. Not bad for having to aim up and out of the passenger side from the driver's side of the 'car blind'. Seanbirds
Rossie! I see them pretty often, but generally not in a good position for photos (bad lighting, too far away, etc).
Clip
Eurasian Wigeon-I saw one of these on two separate occasions while living in Colorado but after looking for a photo of one not long ago I couldn't find one. I don't recall if I didn't get one or if perhaps it got deleted as a very poor photo. Any way I had not shared one with ebird as of this sighting so photo lifer it is. Too far away for a great photo but it isn't horrible either.
Caley Thomas 2.0
Henslow's Sparrow. This one was quite a challenge, but 2 trips and 8 hours later, I finally managed a decent picture of what has to be one of the more beautiful sparrows I've identified so far.
