Connor Cochrane
My first photo of a Blue-winged Warbler. @Avery@The Bird Nuts Just checking that this is a pure bird. It seems like it has a yellow wing bar which I'm not sure is normal on pure Blue-winged. Edited April 26, 2022 by Connor Cochrane
Avery
According to this article by a VT eBird reviewer, this should be eBirded as a hybrid. https://vt.audubon.org/sites/default/files/static_pages/attachments/winged-warblers._how_to_tell_a_pure_species_from_a_hybrid._7-10-19e.pdf "Birders therefore, it seems to us, should continue to use the features and descriptions from the respected birding guides to place their observations in eBird checklists. The two species are clearly defined by a unique collection of plumage characteristics present or absent. These must be accounted for in observations. Any bird deviating from these is thus entered as a hybrid."

Birding Boy
First time seeing a Sora for more than half a second! Usually I just hear them. I laid down on a path and he came right out of the reeds...side note...don't do this if geese regularly hang out on said path.?

Aaron
Was able to get a photo of a black swift the other day! No the best photo, but glad I got some proof that I've actually seen them.
Connor Cochrane
Though I've seen them twice distantly when I was in Mexico, I got my first good look at a Rnged Kingfisher in Texas when this bird flew by me. I found a few more photos hidden on my computer, but I can't wait to get the SD card back with the photos on it in three months.

Last time we went kayaking on the Frio river it was in May, so there were young of both Green, and Ringed, I really enjoyed that. https://ebird.org/checklist/S69389022

Looks like a White-eyed Vireo to me.
Birds are cool
It sounded like a chestnut sided warbler, and white eyes vireos have more white around the eye, but if anybody else also thinks that it is a WH EY VI, then I will change it. Below are comparison photos of the two species. White eyed vireo first. https://ebird.org/checklist/S60233314 https://ebird.org/checklist/S33130414?view=photos
