A few audio recordings of sounds I wasn't sure of at Sodom Pond in Adamant VT. The first is of a bird that trills, and the trill goes up and then quickly down at the end. Calls at the start of the recording and at the end more exposed.

The second might just be a frog, but it calls at 0s a couple times, and at 15. Didn't sound like the other frogs, kind of like a "dut" sound. There was at least one pied-billed grebe at the pond, but i don't know if they make that sound.

Thank you!

Listening back, I'm thinking that maybe the first recording is a yellow-rumped warbler. They seem to have a wide variety of songs.

I think the second one is a frog. I have heard some frogs that make a similar sound.

Yeah I figured. Just wanted to make sure it wasn’t a marsh bird. Thanks!
