RobinHood
Meanwhile back on the river bank........ One Mink is entertaining. Whereas two means big trouble. Chased each other in all directions and had a couple of major scuffles. Finally one decided to withdraw from the field of battle.
RobinHood
The following day on the river bank, more trouble - I think it was a family argument this time.
Clip
Use to see these all the time in Colorado. Here in Florida only one so far and it was too far away to get even a bad photo. Coyotes are said to be expanding their territory into Florida so I may see more. I hope so I miss seeing them. I actually miss a lot things in Colorado. Furry creatures Colorado vs Alligators and other herps Florida!
RobinHood
Just happened to come across a squirrel yesterday relocating her babies one by one from one tree cavity to another one about 100m away. Not really sure why she (presumably) was doing this although I do know the first tree cavity was used by a Flicker last year. Clip
This was from several years ago in Colorado. The most snakes I have ever seen at once. It almost looked like they were trying to beat each other up the bank of the stream.
