I thought he was wrong because 1) it was tiny 2) in fresh water 3) Pond too small for it grow much. Color me shocked! They must be a very versatile fish.

Clip
@SeanbirdsI some how managed to neglect counting on my Herps life list both Red-eared Slider and Western Painted Turtle. The photo below I believe contains both. If yo would be so kind to confirm I will add them. The photo was taken in Jefferson County, Colorado in September 2013. Nope, Red-spotteds are tiny as adults and the build is quite different. Woodhouse’s.

I thought that is what you were going say. I think I tried to id this on my own years ago and had it labeled as Red-spotted. I'm glad I checked with you. Thank you! What is a Red-spotted's territory? Avery
Looking for confirmation. Saw a whole bunch of cool stuff other than birds on my Alabama coast trip. Here are some I'm not sure of the ID's on: Bottlenose Dolphin - a few VERY close to shore, surprised the didn't get stuck when the waves went out! Wasn't able to get photos of the head or tail. This is the best look I could get Painted Turtles? This one was HUGE Harlequin Darner ???
