Wasn't expecting to see a coyote in a Seattle city park this afternoon

As winter goes on there becomes less pray, and they have too hunt more.

I'm starting to see them in the day time around here too, in fact I saw one today.

Coyotes don’t pray as much in the winter? I didn’t know they prayed! Are they Christians?

One of the things I love about birding is that I see so many other creatures like snakes, turtles, lizards, bugs, butterflies, dragonflies and mammals. Once in a while I also find cool non-living stuff. So this thread if it is okay with the moderators is what else do you see/find while out birding? I have posted a Mustached Tiger Beetle as an example. Look closely at the first photo before scrolling to the second: Tiger Beetles are a favorite to find while out birding as they come in a variety of colors and designs. I have managed to find a number of species in both Colorado and Florida. The Tiger Beetle below are from Florida.
