One of the best ways to find rubber chickens is to listen for their squeaky call.

Be -VERY- careful marking Rubber Chicken based solely on the call.  eBird will usually flag the ID since It extremely difficult to differentiate from Rubber Ducky.

Very true. Be sure to keep habitat in mind when trying to make this determination! If it's slap-stick comedy, it's usually a Rubber Chicken. If it's a bathtub habitat it's almost always a Rubber Ducky.

That's a subspecies, rarely found outside pet stores or pet aisles at Wally.  Remember, you can't put them on your list if your dog has killed it.

Please keep the dog away, and try to make it comfortable (the chicken that is). Then check local listings for a rehabber. One of the better ones is Michelin.
