Which Tern & Gull?

Recommended Posts

Both spotted this week (August) on the Caribbean island of St.Kitts. Would the Tern be a Common Tern?

And the Gull, would that be an immature Herring Gull?

There is no plumage of Common Tern with so little black on the head.

The gull is a Lesser Black-backed that looks like it's begun it's second prebasic molt, so is a bit over a year old.

Bump.  So what's the tern?

Sandwich or Roseate I think. Not really sure how to tell them apart in this plumage.
