Lexington County, central SC, today.

A farm pond near my house was lowered about 4.5 feet last week, exposing as much as 75 feet of lake bed.  This has attracted a wider-than-usual range of waders and many shorebirds rarely seen in the immediate area.  A number of county birders have reported a Lesser Yellowlegs here.  Can I add my name to that list?  The bird spent most of his time steadily probing the shore, occasionally trotting.

Thanks.
