The only other shorebirds nearby were the ever-present Killdeer. bobolink2014 Posted August 19, 2020 Share Posted August 19, 2020 I'm not at a level of confirming shorebirds, as I just had my first Baird's Sandpiper two days ago in NJ. But wow, nice shot! Mine was just too far away. But for these long distance travelers any picture is better than no picture. Who knows if they were in the same area a few days ago and one went down the central plains and the other went east coast.
