lonestranger
I noticed a 'Test' link at the top of the page this morning. A couple of Test clicks opened new tabs on my phone's browser. Clicking the X closed/hid the link. I'm curious what was being tested, besides how many times we click Test before clicking the X.

I ran into a page of features that I didn't know about, so I decided to try it out to see what it did. I ended up with the blue "test" bar at the top. After clicking the 'x", I haven't seen it, or been able to find it. It doesn't seem to exist anymore on my end, so I can't very well get rid of it.

aveschapinas
I've removed Kevin's test, so as not to keep confusing people. Everything should be normal now! 2 1

Kevin
When you unelect the "immediately" you can then click the blank boxes and choose the date and time you want it to post.

Not that I'd ever use a time delay for posting, just curious why I've never seen that option.

I think it was there before, but there are often little updates to the platform the site uses that can tweak things like this.

So, should I be able to see those options? There's nothing on my phone or computer screen for that option. Under my text box is the 'Follow topic' button/switch and the 'Submit Reply' button, there are no other boxes or checkmarks on my screen like @SirVive's screenshot shows. lonestranger
I was just reviewing my notifications and it appears I am getting notifications repeated with other notifications. It's not unusual to see multiple people mentioned in one notification, but they're not usually repeated in multiple notifications, are they? I don't usually click 'View all notifications' but this is what I saw when I did. All of these reactions are for the same, single, post. What strikes me as weird is the fact that the first multi-person notification(the last one listed) shows seven reactions, and each subsequent notification is reduced by one person. It's not like it's compounding one notification on top of a previous notification, if you notice the time stamps, you'll see that it was subtracting one person with each new notification. Its not a big deal, it's just weird. 🤷🏼♂️ Edited April 11 by lonestranger

It does seem to me like if I look at a notification it will generate a new one if there are more reactions to the same post, but if I haven't looked at the notificatons it keeps adding on to a single notification with more names.
Charlie Spencer
@lonestranger, you might consider turning off alerts for reactions. Edited April 11 by Charlie Spencer

That's the way it usually happens for me too. This time was just weird because I noticed repeats, and then it got weirder when I noticed that the repeats were in countdown mode. 13 minutes ago, Charlie Spencer said: @lonestranger, you might consider turning off alerts for reactions. I don't think that'll be necessary. The notifications weren't annoying, they were just weird when scrutinized. And the easiest solution for that is to just stop scrutinizing the notifications. 😉 2
