harpoon659 3
Seen at Riverbend Park in Fairfax County, VA, on 15 September. These guys were behaving like Blackpolls, in an area with known black-and-white warbler activity, compounded by downy woodpeckers in the same immediate area at the same time. Are these blackpoll warblers, black-and-white warblers, or both?

harpoon659 3
Many thanks to all! Those under-tail covert markings subsequently came in handy with IDs of numerous additional underside looks at Black-and-Whites this season.
