Acadian, Pewee, or Least Flycatcher?

Recommended Posts

Hello,

On 9-18-2020 in central Florida, I saw this flycatcher when kayaking through a creek.

It was quite far, so I could not judge size, and it never vocalized. I'm aiming towards acadian flycatcher, as it has an eyering and least flycatchers are rare here. If anyone would know, that would be great!

Appears to be an Acadian with that long primary projection. But it doesn't seem bulky enough... wait for more responses.

I would probably leave this at empid sp., personally. It does appear to have a long primary projection, though the wing is partially opened which can mask the true length of the primaries. It feel less bulky than I'd expect for Acadian, as Akandula pointed out.
