But this bird seems to have the back “toe” that the Sanderling lacks. What are we looking at here? Thank you. What are we looking at here? It is to long to be the hind toe, so it is just a normal Sanderling. Additionally, that big black area at the "wrist" is a deal-breaker for anything else.
