dragon49
Not a lot going here, but I did get the Cave Swallow lifer I was after. This place has lots more to offer, but I was stationary most of the time, trying hard to get recognizable photos of the bird. I ended up getting a good enough screengrab from a vid. I'll have to go back and walk around some more: https://ebird.org/checklist/S130764668

IKLland
Found this riparian area near my house. Looks like it can be pretty good during migration. https://ebird.org/checklist/S130805988

dragon49
No Yellow-rumped Warblers on either checklist. Looks like they are leaving town. I recently spoke with a local birder who noticed fewer around these days as well. Not much to comment on for the first one. Normal stuff for the area. I should be seeing more species this time of day though. The highlight was being able to capture good audio of a Red-bellied Woodpecker call. I've uploaded RBWO audio before, but never this call: https://ebird.org/checklist/S130964905 I got the Red-crowned Parrot lifer I was after! I'd never been here, so I showed up earlier than the anticipated flyover, walked around the neighborhood, and ended up with a decent checklist with some good photos: https://ebird.org/checklist/S131001440
dragon49
Not a lot going on here. No proper walks today, but I had a little time to keep my checklist streak alive. It was nice to see a Black Vulture, as the vultures around these parts are almost exclusively TUVUs: https://ebird.org/checklist/S131056022 Edited March 16 by dragon49
Quiscalus quiscula
https://ebird.org/checklist/S131218405 Just a nice day for a walk. 42F and the snow is melting, listening to singing birds.

Congrats on the balmy weather! We’re having similar weather over here, haven’t been able to bird much lately though. dragon49
I took it slow today. I did get a surprisingly good number of species on the last checklist though: https://ebird.org/checklist/S131306682 I wasn't expecting much here this time of day - https://ebird.org/checklist/S131310143 I'm may add one species to this list if I can get a species determined from some awful photos, but the checklist is otherwise complete: https://ebird.org/checklist/S131327121 Edited March 20 by dragon49
Charlie Spencer
It takes some luck for me to get a 20-species list in the backyard. This time I was helped by a couple of flyovers (Bald Eagle and two Red-Taileds) and some birds that are not uncommon but don't pass through the yard very often (Eastern Phoebe, American Robin). I wouldn't have needed as many of those lucky birds if some of the regulars had shown up (Carolina Wren, Blue Jay, Red-winged, maybe a flyover Osprey). https://ebird.org/checklist/S131306884 Edited March 20 by Charlie Spencer

dragon49
Not much going on here. Somebody recently reported a few Common Mynas in a local Walmart parking lot, so I drove down in a failed attempt to get the lifer. - https://ebird.org/checklist/S131371127 The main list. It's an OK checklist. I was mainly here to get a Blue-winged Warbler lifer, but the bird was nowhere to be found. - https://ebird.org/checklist/S131405754 I wasn't expecting much here this time of day -https://ebird.org/checklist/S131406995 Edited March 20 by dragon49
dragon49
Still no Common Myna lifers here, but I did later get intel on a better spot to find the bird: https://ebird.org/checklist/S131449014 Not much going on here, but I only stayed in one area looking for a bird. I did get the White-crowned Pigeon lifer I was after though! I also discovered a new hotspot: https://ebird.org/checklist/S131484243
Zoroark
A trip to the local bird preserve in the high winds in search of a Chestnut-sided Warbler didn't turn up the rarity, but the swallow activity was high. Two of them (Cliff and Violet-green) were new for the year, as well as a Yellow-headed Blackbird. https://ebird.org/checklist/S131558283 Edited March 22 by Zoroark

dragon49
My original plan was to stay only 30 minutes and either get a Blue-winged Warbler lifer or not. The bird continues to elude me, but the refuge is so precious that I couldn't help to stick around until it was too dark to take pictures. I looked up last light for the area today, and I technically had one-minute left. Decent checklist for the area. I could have observed more species, but I was only concentrating on areas where I thought I'd have the best chance to spot the BWWA that I suspect has left town. https://ebird.org/checklist/S131568596 Edited March 23 by dragon49
