Your checklist of the day!

I actually have two other checklists from today that I've yet to submit. I don't feel like eating dinner past midnight like my last dinner, which was also my last meal, so I'll wait to submit them tomorrow and will then share them here. 🙂  Birding is going to keep me fit and skinny. 🙂

This was the best one anyway.  I got the Black Tern lifer I was targeting.  I also got a Bank Swallow and Semipalmated Sandpiper lifer.

Not sure if you saw, but you definitely have at least 2 Western Sandpipers from today.

These parking lot checklists have more value than I'd imagined.  As I arrived, I met a visiting out of town birder who was chasing a Gray Kingbird which I had reported yesterday.  I led him to the trees where I had spotted one of them, but unfortunately, we were unable to locate any.  It was nice to have made a new contact.  More species than yesterday but fewer birds.  Still, decent for a parking lot:

Not FL numbers but darn good for the SC northern coastal plain.

The Avian Research and Conservation Institute is interested in all Swallow-tailed Kite sightings until August 15th.  You should report your sightings.
