Your checklist of the day!

Pretty good day, haven’t gotten this many species in a while. If the river wasn’t frozen, I’m sure I could have gotten in the 20s. Added 2 new species to my county list (pileated woodpecker and evening grosbeak). First time birding this area making it the 4th location I’ve birded this year... Gotta get out more.
Was really trying to find a ruffed grouse or a  mountain chickadee, but no luck! Wish I would have gotten better photos, but nothing I haven’t already photographed before.

Only 45 species, just walked in neighborhood, that’s why the count is low, but I got two lifers, a heard only Virginia rail and northern rough winged swallow!

That would be a lot of species for around here at this time of year! (PA)

You should be glad for the birding you get in the area you live in!
