dragon49
An average day in the neighborhood. I was unable to identify two flyovers but picked out the rest of the visual IDs and calls. https://ebird.org/checklist/S113538977 Edited June 22, 2022 by dragon49

Charlie Spencer
Absolutely nothing special here. We're installing a software upgrade on an application server. I could sit in the A/C and watch the progress bar creep across the screen for an hour-plus, or walk the perimeter of the plant property at 90F. Guess which one I chose? https://ebird.org/checklist/S113692160

I report Fish Crows almost every day, as all I ever hear are their nasal calls. I need an American Crow for a lifer.

With a group this morning, we heard one of each. Otherwise, I agree with @Zoroark: if I don't hear it, 'crow sp.'

dragon49
I'm running out of things to say before the checklist paste. I added some details to the Ebird checklist description. I didn't feel like sharing the following with Ebird, but if anybody is interested, there were lots of annoying gnats landing on my face while I was taking photos. https://ebird.org/checklist/S113752813
Zoroark
I'm certainly not itching to go outside in this heat. ? Don't expect any checklists from me for a bit, unless I go up the mountain or see something interesting in the yard. dragon49
I don't come to this hotspot much but showed up to find the American White Pelican that people have been reporting here, as I need it for a lifer. Unfortunately, it was nowhere to be found, but I had a good trip, nonetheless. https://ebird.org/checklist/S113834698 Edited June 26, 2022 by dragon49 1

Always a challenge to do my best to count the Wood Storks. My counts tend to be higher than others. I assume you are familiar with Green Cay as well. If you haven't been there, you definitely need to check out the Arthur R. Marshall Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge. The Marsh Trail is the popular birding spot there, but the seemingly never-ending Levee Trail is an awesome spot as well.

I’d suggest not doing it in most situations, especially in sunlight, as it makes the colors look weird as shown in your Limpkin shots. I see nothing to indicate the use of flash in any of the photos on that checklist. The Limpkin photos show a bird partially shaded from full sunshine. The sunlight is falling on the grass behind the shaded shoulder of the bird whereas flash would have to highlight the shoulder in order to be that bright on the grass behind it.
