dragon49
Two checklists today: https://ebird.org/checklist/S119780122 - I took a tour and followed one of the guides who is one of our county reviewers. He pointed out all 6 of my lifers from the trip. The Yellow-billed Cuckoo, Merlin, Peregrine Falcon, Brown Thrasher, House Finch, and Bay-breasted Warbler were all lifers. https://ebird.org/checklist/S119772058 - Another awesome checklist! The Chuck-will's-widow and Barred Owl were lifers.

dragon49
Three checklists today: https://ebird.org/checklist/S119841909 - I heard the Barred Owl again, but it was too deep in the trees to spot. https://ebird.org/checklist/S119845199 - A quick walk. https://ebird.org/checklist/S119852127 - Decent number of species for the time spent there and the distance travelled. Quiscalus quiscula
I feel too embarrassed to post checklists under 20 species here, so I guess you won't see many checklists of mine here this winter as the species count continues to drop. Even if your checklists don’t have many species, they still provide extremely important data. I’d say you can still oust them, unless they’re incidental.

Aidan B
I had an absolutely insane day at the Outer Point in Marin yesterday! Had 17 warbler species, plus three Clay-colored Sparrows, an Orchard Oriole, and a probable Chimney Swift! The best day of birding that I have ever experienced! https://ebird.org/tripreport/77844

dragon49
Three checklists today: https://ebird.org/checklist/S119998221 - This is the earliest in day I've ever started a checklist here, and also the most species I've reported at the hotspot. This place is much more alive than in the middle of a hot, late morning or early afternoon. https://ebird.org/checklist/S120002309 - I Pasted the next sentence in from above. ? This is the earliest in day I've ever started a checklist here, and also the most species I've reported at the hotspot. Yes, mornings are indeed better for birding. I also think I'm going to be reporting more species, as with experience, my eyes and ears get better tuned for birding. The White-eyed Vireo was a photo lifer. https://ebird.org/checklist/S120009307 - Good trip. The Gray Catbird and White-winged Doves were hotspot lifers. I'd love to see all of your complete checklists, regardless of the number of species. The only complete checklists I don't post here are short duration ones that I partake in just to keep my checklist streak going.
Quiscalus quiscula
https://ebird.org/checklist/S120080234 A few county FOS. Nice warm fall day to bird, quite some fall colors, late-blooming flowers, interesting insects but no biting ones. Good looks at a lot of the birds, including a Brown Creeper less than 20 feet away. First time I've seen both kinglet species in the same checklist. Later fall migrants coming in. Checked all the White-throated Sparrows for White-crowned, but I guess WCSP will remain a nemesis.
Aidan B
Got some really good birds today! We're having a crazy irruption year for Lewis's Woodpecker right now in the central valley. I've even been having them flying over my house! https://ebird.org/checklist/S120090102

dragon49
Not a lot of species, but seeing all the different raptors in a small area was pretty cool: https://ebird.org/checklist/S120139614 Edited October 7, 2022 by dragon49
Quiscalus quiscula
https://ebird.org/checklist/S120154895 Not a particularly productive checklist, but still cool to watch a Myrtle Yellow-rump flit around. I've got to get my eyeful of warblers before winter really sets in.
