Zoroark
I went back to the bird preserve with my father. Three FOY and one audio lifer: Common Yellowthroat (FOY) Ross's Goose (FOY) Long-billed Dowitcher (FOY) Sora (audio lifer) Also noteworthy were the four Northern Harriers, four singing Crissal Thrashers, Myrtle Yellow-rumped Warbler, and three American Robins (uncommon at this location). https://ebird.org/checklist/S126646999 Edited January 21 by Zoroark

Birds are cool
It was pouring all day. I was lucky to get this checklist in. 8.5 mile run in 50f and rain. Literally had to take off my shirt because it weighed 3 pounds from the rain! County high for DEJU! https://ebird.org/checklist/S126745611

Birds are cool
https://ebird.org/checklist/S126823753 Woohoo! Got not just 1, but two screech owls! Did not see these until fall last year!

Did not see these until fall last year! Why add the count of 0 for the GHOW? If it’s not on the list, it’s obvious that you didn’t see or hear it. But, if you really want to say that you didn’t see or hear one, you could add in the main checklist comments that you didn’t see or hear one. Ebird doesn’t want people to add the count of 0 to show that a bird wasn’t present. 2
Zoroark
We went for a pleasant late morning walk along the local wash and had a lot of activity, especially with hummingbirds. Two ravens also aggressively chased a hawk. Nothing new for the year, but that's okay. https://ebird.org/checklist/S126866346
Aaron
Feeling a bit greedy now having seen 2 in the same month, but also proud of my detective skills as this was another guess. Less than 10 minutes from my house in a residential area of all places.

If so there's a chance a Kirtland's Warbler might show up in your area this next summer 😉

IKLland
Here’s the best list from my pelagic last weekend. https://ebird.org/checklist/S126927606 And here’s a trip report, note that there were a few species that were seen by others on the boat that I missed. https://ebird.org/tripreport/103791
dragon49
I'm never sure where to draw the line on what to post here. I don't post incidentals, and I don't post 3-minute supermarket parking lot checklists with a handful of species. Not too much going on here, but I did include two great photos. I've only gone to this place twice; both times failed attempts to locate a Great Blue Heron (Great White) that other birders keep finding here: https://ebird.org/checklist/S126907967 Very, very little overall going on here, as too many of the flyovers were too badly lit for positive IDs, and my focus was only in the directions the Lesser Nighthawks could have been coming from. I did get a lifer though, the Lesser Nighthawk: https://ebird.org/checklist/S126931967 Edited January 26 by dragon49
Birds are cool
Only 4 checklists to choose from today. It was raining until 4:30 pm. Have to go with this checklist from Beaverdam. 6.5 mile run in the rain. About the same amount of rain as Sunday. Hairy Woodpecker and Rusty Blackbirds were what made this checkllist. https://ebird.org/checklist/S126918925
