Jefferson Shank
@Connor Cochrane Don't know why it shows 8 ratings at 5-stars average... I don't know about you, but this is a max of 4-stars for me.

It's also slightly out of focus and washed out. Not deserving to be up there in my opinion.

Jefferson Shank
@Birding BoyYou must have just added another photo of the Redhead to your checklist. It's starting to go up in ratings also. Four WhatBirders in a row. @Jefferson Shank@blackburnian@Birding Boy@Connor Cochrane

I didn't even share it anywhere and somehow it got 2 ratings withing 3 minutes… I dunno lol. Edited February 23, 2021 by Birding Boy

IMO, the other one has a better pose because of the way its neck is leaning back.

I like the pose on my first one better for sure, but I feel like #2 is more of a better eBird shot, perhaps.

And your Herring Gull shot is great, nice job with that! Edited February 23, 2021 by Birding Boy

No, I’ve got a Panasonic lumix fz1000. Thanks for the compliment! It means a lot. It’s been a big upgrade from the canon coolpix a900 I had a year ago. A lot of the birds mages that aren’t in good lighting or are far away are pretty grainy though. Edited February 23, 2021 by Avery

Jefferson Shank
Not the best I've taken of a White-crowned, but it's still good enough to get on the front page I guess.
