dlleaton
Just began noticing this bird. I am in central Idaho, the bird eats the seeds from pine cones in my tree (in the fall). There are two and they are not timid. They are very quick flitting from one pine cone to another. The body is gray, black eyes, wings, beak and black and white tail. There are white markings around the eyes, on the front of the wing and white in the tail. I am not a bird watcher, per se, but I do notice the different birds and take pictures of many of them. This bird is new to my yard and I'm very curious about the pretty little things. Thank you for your help.
