First four are all immatures

The last is an oddball; I'll have to think on that one some more.
 

Would someone help me separate #2 from #4?  They look identical to me.

My bad. I had meant to change my thoughts on #4 when I realized that it had the very same odd feature as the bird in #2 -- the two retained juv outer median coverts, though, granted, they're on opposite wings. However, I've seen very few immature Catharus that had retained those juv feathers in that tract, and I've banded a lot of Catharus. I think that the birds in #2 and #4 are almost certainly the same individual Veery. And THAT illustrates the importance of lighting in distinguishing upperparts coloration in the genus (https://cobirds.org/Publications/ColoradoBirds/InTheScope/37.pdf).

If you're referring to these, that's exactly what caught my attention.
