Little Bird Tapper

Recommended Posts

I have a little light gray bird that taps on my window everyday many times all day.  He has big black eyes and black on top of his head.  He Flutters from tree to window and taps then sits then flutters to bird feeder.  Can not find a pic that matches.  I am in FL.

Which part of Florida?  Could it be a White-breasted Nuthatch?

Please reply if you know what kind he is.  Few little feathers that stand up on his head.  Adorable round black eyes.  Looks inside then flies off. I have a pic I will try to post.  Thank you

The other birds that feed are blue jays,  cardinals and doves sometimes crows. Central FL

Why do yall think he taps on my window? I have a video. He wakes me up early then comes all day.. Tap tap.. Sits and looks inside with his big black eyes.  I have a video when I can post it.  He is precious.  Does not sing.  Flutters in a circle. Thanks for all the replies.  I think I will be a real Bird Watcher now. Maybe he is a Tiltmouse... But no other colors than light gray and black,  Lighter shade of gray on sides.
